Bangs Ambulance provides complete advanced life support service care to Ithaca , New York and all of Tompkins County in the heart of the Finger Lakes . Bangs Ambulance is part of a fast paced emergency medical system that strives to keep abreast of the ever changing scene of pre-hospital and inter-facility hospital care.
Ithaca is a diverse community that calls itself home to Cornell University and Ithaca College, The Finger Lakes Region is a beautiful area known for its state parks, gorges, waterfalls and of course it's award winning Finger Lakes wines.
One of our keys to success is our practice our hiring good employees. We at Bangs Ambulance believe that our employees are our best asset and that each individual brings something special to our organization. We know that our success depends largely on their skills, experience, hard work and commitment to our mission. Our roster of 60, many of who are long time staff members, staff our fleet of ten advanced life support ambulances and our two paramedic intercept vehicles. Bangs also provides a wheelchair and invalid service in Tompkins County and throughout New York State .
